How do you weave 55 new homes into a village built on thread?

Salboy came to us with a 55-home scheme in Tean, Staffordshire. A village shaped by centuries of ribbon weaving at the Tean Hall Mills.

We don't start with a name, we start with belief. Through discovery, research and positioning strategy, we defined the truth that would drive everything:

"The best new homes in Tean shouldn't sit apart from the village like other local new homes developments. They should help hold it together and the lives lived within them."

That belief shaped the naming, the narrative and the entire brand system. Daisyfields was born. A name rooted in the land, built to endorse the Salboy promise of uncompromising build quality.

We built the full toolkit for Salboy, including the host brochure, house type sheets, on-site signage, interactive digital brochure, and a full CGI suite. This included exteriors, streetscenes and interiors.

Tean's heritage is textile. But heritage done badly is a museum. We refused the twee. No spinning wheels, no spools of thread.

Instead, we studied the structural mechanics of the craft: the mathematical punch-cards of the Jacquard looms, the interlocking grids of warp and weft.

By abstracting the looms into heavy, structural geometrics, we created an identity that feels solid, established, and built to last.

We abstracted them into a brand of engineered elegance. A solid serif wordmark, a bespoke 'Stitch Daisy' crest drawn like a loom punch-card, and the Tean Grid: brutalist chequerboards and brick-weaves that mirror the precision of Salboy's masonry.

Modern homes with a Staffordshire soul.

Built bespoke, not off the shelf. Our Kerb interactive gave the sales suite a living site plan. Plots, home types and availability, all in the Daisyfields brand, updated in real time.

Here's the honest bit. Daisyfields never went on sale.

Late in the project, Salboy made a commercial decision to take the site to the rental market rather than open sales. Nothing to do with the work, everything to do with a shifting market.

But belief doesn't expire. The strategy, the brand and every asset stand launch-ready, and we're proud to show what a belief-first process delivers, even when the market writes its own ending.

The homes will now reach Tean as rental homes, and the thinking that shaped Daisyfields holds just as true.
